Patient Moving & Manual Handling Course
Healthcare workers and Carers are involved in moving and handling patients on a daily basis and can be easily injured if the correct equipment/method is not used to aid the moving and handling of patients. This one-day program is designed to train participants on how to handle and move patients with the use of certain equipment and also recommend the best methods /techniques in a manner, which is safe for themselves and their patients.
Patient Moving and Handling Training is extremely useful in reducing the risk of injury to both carers and patients. We use the most up-to-date equipment and techniques, provide participants with the necessary skills and information to care for patients and clients using a minimal lifting policy.
The Patient Moving & Handling training course can be completed in a day and is run in conjunction with our Manual Handling Course. It covers a range of topics in order to give the learner confidence to risk assess Patient Manual Handling tasks and perform said tasks within their workplace.

Course Format
